Newtech Modern Equipment for Quality Testing
NewTech – Pipes Group boasts the most advanced equipment for quality testing of pipes in its laboratory, operating 24/7 to ensure high standards. To maintain and guarantee quality, NewTech – Pipes has established a state-of-the-art, well-equipped Pipe Testing Laboratory. This facility is dedicated to quality testing as well as research and development. NewTech UPVC Pipes undergo online inspections and are tested in a calibrated laboratory by trained QC engineers to ensure compliance with specifications and standards for valued customers. Regular tests are conducted in the quality control laboratory according to PS-3051/91, equivalent to BS-3505.
The following tests are routinely performed in the laboratory to ensure compliance with BS-3505 and PS-305/91 per ASTM:
- Impact Resistance Test at 20°C
- Longitudinal Reversion at 150°C
- Delamination Resistance at 150°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 60°C
- Short-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Specific Gravity Test (1.42-1.46)
- Superficial Appearance
- Fracture Toughness
- Opacity Test (0.2% Max)
- Compression Test, Flattening Test (as per ASTM)
- Methylene Chloride Test (for controlling proper gelation)
