Newtech Modern Equipment for Quality Testing
NewTech – Pipes Group has the most advanced quality testing equipment in its laboratory, which runs 24/7 to maintain the highest quality standards. For maintaining consistent quality, NewTech – Pipes has set up a world-class Pipe Testing Laboratory, which is focused on both quality assurance and research and development. NewTech UPVC pipes are continuously checked online and thoroughly tested in a calibrated lab by trained QC engineers to ensure they comply with all standards and specifications. They are regularly tested as per PS-3051/91, which is equivalent to BS-3505, to ensure the quality for our esteemed customers.
The following tests are routinely performed in the laboratory to ensure compliance with BS-3505 and PS-305/91 per ASTM:
- Impact Resistance Test at 20°C
- Longitudinal Reversion at 150°C
- Delamination Resistance at 150°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 60°C
- Short-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Specific Gravity Test (1.42-1.46)
- Superficial Appearance
- Fracture Toughness
- Opacity Test (0.2% Max)
- Compression Test, Flattening Test (as per ASTM)
- Methylene Chloride Test (for controlling proper gelation)
