NewTech – Pipes Group operates a cutting-edge quality testing laboratory that runs around the clock to maintain the highest standards in pipe manufacturing. Our world-class Pipe Testing Laboratory emphasizes both quality assurance and research & development. NewTech UPVC pipes undergo continuous online monitoring and thorough laboratory testing by expert QC engineers to ensure full compliance with all standards and specifications. Regular testing is performed in accordance with PS-3051/91, equivalent to BS-3505, ensuring consistent, reliable quality for our valued customers.
The following tests are routinely performed in the laboratory to ensure compliance with BS-3505 and PS-305/91 per ASTM:
- Impact Resistance Test at 20°C
- Longitudinal Reversion at 150°C
- Delamination Resistance at 150°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 60°C
- Short-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Specific Gravity Test (1.42-1.46)
- Superficial Appearance
- Fracture Toughness
- Opacity Test (0.2% Max)
- Compression Test, Flattening Test (as per ASTM)
- Methylene Chloride Test (for controlling proper gelation)
