NewTech Pipes Group operates a modern, 24/7 quality assurance laboratory committed to maintaining high manufacturing standards for pipe production. The facility emphasizes strict quality control alongside ongoing research and development to continuously improve product efficiency and reliability. Every NewTech uPVC pipe undergoes real-time online monitoring and detailed laboratory testing under the supervision of skilled quality control engineers, ensuring full compliance with all required industrial standards and technical specifications. Regular inspections are carried out in accordance with PS-3051/91, equivalent to BS-3505 standards, to maintain consistent product integrity. This structured quality system ensures long-term durability, dependable performance, and trusted assurance for customers.
The following tests are routinely performed in the laboratory to ensure compliance with BS-3505 and PS-305/91 per ASTM:
- Impact Resistance Test at 20°C
- Longitudinal Reversion at 150°C
- Delamination Resistance at 150°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Long-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 60°C
- Short-Term Hydrostatic Pressure Resistance Test at 20°C
- Specific Gravity Test (1.42-1.46)
- Superficial Appearance
- Fracture Toughness
- Opacity Test (0.2% Max)
- Compression Test, Flattening Test (as per ASTM)
- Methylene Chloride Test (for controlling proper gelation)
